Shipping & Returns

Shipping.

The majority of Cadette Jewelry pieces are handmade to order, this requires 4-6 weeks for production as soon as payment is received, plus shipping time. Select pieces in the ready to ship section are in stock and will ship within 7 business days. Please read the process and shipping details in each individual product's description carefully. For any specific or urgent requests, please email allison@cadettejewelry.com before placing your order.

Canada Shipping:
Orders placed within Canada ship at $15-$20 depending on location, via Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Delivery takes 1-15 business days, also depending on location. You will be emailed tracking information as soon as your order has shipped.

International Shipping:
Orders placed internationally ship at $25-$65 depending on location, via DHL Express International. Delivery takes 1-5 business days, also depending on location. You will be emailed tracking information as soon as your order has shipped.
 

IMPORTANT: International orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes that Cadette Jewelry is not responsible for – it is up to the buyer to look over these potential fees. Cadette Jewelry is legally required to declare the full dollar value paid on the international shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it. For further information, please contact your local customs office.
 

Shipping Insurance.

It is recommend that customers purchase Route Package Protection. Route is a premium shipping insurance for online orders. When you add Route at checkout, you can easily file claims for lost, stolen or damaged packages in the unfortunate case that they arise. When you file a claim, it will be reviewed for approval for a reorder or refund within 24 hours. 

The cost to add Route is calculated at checkout at approximately 2.5% of your order value, and is non-refundable. If you do not purchase Route Package Protection and your package is lost, stolen or damaged, we will do our best to assist you but Cadette Jewelry is not responsible or liable once your package has been shipped.


Returns & Refunds.

Cadette Jewelry pieces are handmade to order and are therefore final sale. However, if you wish to exchange a product, or return it for store credit, please notify us within 7 days of your delivery at hello@cadettejewelry.com and anticipate a 25% restocking fee*. Orders placed outside of North America are final sale, and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit.

Please note, the following pieces are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit: Rings, engagement rings, bespoke pieces, engraved pieces, gold fill / gold plated / gold vermeil pieces,  any pieces with signs of wear (scratches, marks, etc), gift cards.

The customer is responsible for return shipping and any applicable duty costs. Refunds are issued within 3-5 business days once the order has arrived back at Cadette Jewelry's studio location, and given the piece is in its original, new condition and packaging.

*The 25% restocking fee: Because Cadette Jewelry pieces are diligently handmade, the 25% re-stocking fee is implemented to support the time, labour and additional costs allocated to crafting the original piece that was ordered. Thank you for your understanding.

Warranty.

Our warranty for sterling silver and solid gold pieces covers one complimentary repair within one year of your order’s delivery date. Only applicable if the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect.

Our warranty for engagement rings covers complimentary repairs within three years of your order’s delivery date. Only applicable if the damage is caused by a manufacturing defect. Our warranty does not cover any repairs required due to general wear and tear or negligence. If your piece indeed requires repairs outside of this warranty, we will do our best to assist you with a repair fee plus shipping.

(Gold filled, gold plated and gold vermeil pieces are not covered by warranty).
