Shipping.

The majority of Cadette Jewelry pieces are handmade to order, this requires 2-6 weeks for production as soon as payment is received, plus shipping time. Select pieces in the ready to ship section are in stock and will ship within 7 business days. Please read the process and shipping details in each individual product's description carefully. For any specific or urgent requests, please email allison@cadettejewelry.com before placing your order.

Canada Shipping:
Orders placed within Canada ship at $15-$20 depending on location, via Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Delivery takes 1-15 business days, also depending on location. You will be emailed tracking information as soon as your order has shipped.

International Shipping:
Orders placed internationally ship at $25-$65 depending on location, via DHL Express International. Delivery takes 1-5 business days, also depending on location. You will be emailed tracking information as soon as your order has shipped.
 

IMPORTANT: International orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes that Cadette Jewelry is not responsible for – it is up to the buyer to look over these potential fees. Cadette Jewelry is legally required to declare the full dollar value paid on the international shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it. For further information, please contact your local customs office.

 

Route Package Protection.

It is recommend that customers purchase Route Package Protection. Route is premium package protection for your online orders. When you add Route at checkout, you can easily file claims for lost, stolen or damaged packages in the unfortunate case that they arise. When you file a claim, it will be reviewed for approval for a reorder or refund within 24 hours. 

The cost to add Route is calculated at checkout and is non-refundable. If you do not purchase Route Package Protection, Cadette Jewelry is not responsible for the loss or theft of packages once they have been shipped. In the unlikely and unfortunate event your order is lost, stolen or damaged in transit and you have not opted for Route, please file a claim with the carrier of your package. The shipping carrier is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of your package. Cadette Jewelry receives the same tracking information from the carrier that the customer receives.



Returns & Refunds.

Cadette Jewelry pieces are handmade to order, please consider this when you make your purchase. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please notify me within 7 days of your delivery at allison@cadettejewelry.com – a return will be arranged for select pieces only. (See below for pieces that are not eligible for return / refund or exchange). All returns will be subject to a 25% restocking fee*.

The customer is responsible for return shipping and any applicable duty costs. Refunds are issued within 3-5 business days once the order has arrived back at Cadette's studio location (below), and if the piece is in its original, new condition and packaging.

*The 25% restocking fee: Because Cadette Jewelry pieces are diligently handmade, the 25% re-stocking fee is implemented to support the time, labour and additional costs allocated to crafting the original piece that was ordered. Thank you for your understanding.

Exchanges.

In order to exchange a Cadette Jewelry piece, the original item must be returned (in its original, new condition and packaging) for a refund, minus a 25% restocking fee.* And a new order with the desired replacement must then be placed. Select pieces are not eligible for an exchange – please see this list below.

Non-Refundable or Exchangeable Items.

Due to the specific process and personalization of the following pieces, they are not eligible for a return / refund or exchange:
Gift Cards
Rings
Engraved Pieces
Any pieces with signs of wear (scratches, marks, etc).

All Cadette Jewelry is designed and handmade for long-lasting wear. If your piece breaks due to hardware failure or defect within six months of your purchase date, please contact us to discuss potential repairing options at allison@cadettejewelry.com. For any damages incurred outside the six month time frame, we kindly ask that you refer to a jewelry repair service provider in your local area.
