The Aalto Necklace is a modern and artful design, made for everyday wear. It features a sculptural hook closure that was diligently hand-carved, and paired with a modern snake chain that falls fluidly around your neckline. This piece has a stunning substance and weight to it, making it an eye-catching embellishment to any look, from casual to formal.
INSPIRATION: The Aalto Necklace’s sculptural clasp draws inspiration from the majestic trees around us. Whilst carving the design’s prototype, I aimed to capture the organic feel and curvature of tree bark and branches.
Additionally, this piece was given the name Aalto, as its wavy, fluid-like spirit is reminiscent of architect Alvar Aalto’s select works.
